Roe Vs. Wade Anniversary: 35 Years of Holocaust

This is a sad day in American history. Today marks the day that the Supreme Court of the United States decided that certain people were not entitled to the "life" part of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" that is supposed to be the right of all according to our Declaration of Independence.

Mother Theresa lamented this day when she said, "Your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation."

She was right.

Since then, millions have become desensitized to what is actually happening in that precedure we've disquised with the name "abortion." I remember a time when I posted pictures of aborted babies on a Christian message forum I frequent. There had been a debate about it where pro-abortion people were telling us that it really wasn't that bad. But then when confronted with the truth of the matter in actual pictures, they were offended. How dare I post such offensive pictures on a message forum! To this day I remember how stunned I was that they were more offended by pictures of abortion than by the process itself. How dare I inject reality into an otherwise stimulating debate.

That's very telling. Today we pride ourselves so much in being "open minded" and "tolerant" that some can discuss anything without emotion. And the pro-abortion crowd views the one who gets upset as unenlightened because he can't have a calm discussion about it. He's still sensitive to the issue. He's not desensitized to it like the others.

I wonder if the same crowd would discuss Nazism with such ease and tolerance. If we were allowed to go back in time to interview Adolf Hitler, what would their reaction be as he stated that Jewish people weren't really people and that exterminating them would help humans evolve to higher levels (that's actually what he believed). Would the left-wing folks show his view the same level of tolerance as they do abortion? Or would they question rather Hitler had the "right to choose"? And if they did question that, would that make them anti choice as they call those of us who value human life?

It seems that pro-abortion folks are trying to advance their culture of death even further now days. Now it seems they want to deny the right to life to babies who actually survive abortions and are delivered to the world outside of their mother.

Take Barack Obama for example. According to a recent story by Terence Jeffrey of the Cybercast News Service, Barack Obama "is so pro-abortion that he refused as an Illinois state senator to support legislation to protect babies who survived late-term abortions," Jeffrey writes. He said Obama "did not want to concede -- as he explained in a cold-blooded speech on the Illinois Senate floor -- that these babies, fully outside their mothers' wombs, with their hearts beating and lungs heaving, were in fact 'persons.'

On the Illinois Senate floor, Obama was the only senator of either party to speak against the baby-protecting bills, Jeffrey reported.

Obama was so cold hearted that he sat through the testimony of Jill Stanek, a nurse who shared a terrible story of a botched abortion where the baby's cries could be heard down the hall. The "parents" did not want to hold their mortally-wounded child because they did not want him in the first place. Another nurse placed the dying child in a soiled utility room to die. These are Jill's words about those moments:

"I couldn't bear the thought of this suffering child lying alone in a Soiled Utility Room, so I cradled and rocked him for the 45 minutes that he lived."

What have we become?! What has Barack Obama become that he listened to that and was the only senator, Republican or Democrat, who was opposed to there being any kind of value assigned to a baby who survived an abortion. No pain killers, no attempt to save that young life, he wanted the status quo to remain in tact where those crying children would be left to die -- and he got his way in Illinois.

And this sicko is who some want to be President of the United States of America! One has to wonder if he is more like the former dictator of Iraq, with whom he shares the name Hussein (Barack Hussein Obama is his full name).

I learned of Barack's extreme views on the killing of baby's only yesterday and with today being the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade it was on my mind this morning. I just didn't know that he was that far gone and that depraved. If knowing that doesn't turn you away from him, you may be too far gone yourself. What kind of world do we live in that calls it "choice" to stop the beating heart of a child?

There is a saying for people that are to "opened minded" it says that if you are to open minded then your brains will fall out and I must say that anyone who agrees with the murder of children has indeed lost there brains as well as their soul. I commend you for writing such powerful words on such important issues and I know god will bless you for standing up for the helpless. And God help those that do not!!

Barack has no business running our christian country with his anti christian ways.

Keep up the good work Lee you rock!

I am so glad that you choose to write on these topics! My heart is absolutely wretched out just reading the nurses testimony - it's so painful to read. The the wrath of the Lord has not yet been poured out on this world is evidence of His amazing patience that He would'nt wnat even one to perish. At least these poor babies are safe now!
